Hidden Paradise Yoga Retreat

After all these covidy years, I am overjoyed to be returning to Hidden Paradise to run another joyous, uplifting, heart-opening Yoga Retreat.

The retreat will run from Monday 12th to Monday 19th September 2022 and will be a super nourishing mix of

๐ŸŒบ gorgeous yoga

๐ŸŒบ delicious fresh food

๐ŸŒบ and stunning natural surroundings

to completely soothe your soul and give you a full-system reset so you leave feeling

โœจfully rejuvenated & vibrant

โœจ strong & healthy

โœจ glowy & radiant

โœจ and totally blissed out!

Where?

It's taking place at Hidden Paradise - a beautiful off-grid retreat venue in the Alpujarra Mountains, near Orgiva in the south of Spain between Granada and Mรกlaga.

It comprises a collection of gorgeous hand-crafted buildings - stone and wood buildings, hand-crafted treehouses, cob houses and the two workshops spaces with their spectacular panoramic views across the valley. It's completely off-grid, all the water is spring water from the mountains - including the showers and the two pools!

Accommodation

The accommodation is all off-grid โ€“ we stay in simple, clean, handmade and handcrafted eco buildings either made from stone and wood or hand-carved treehouses.

The accommodation is based on sharing. There are a few opportunities to pay extra for a single room (cost ยฃ100 extra).

Food

Weโ€˜ll be provided with beautiful breakfasts, lunches and dinners, as well as fresh fruit, teas, water and milks that will be available throughout the day for snacking.

The food is all fresh, local, seasonal, super nutritious and incredibly delicious! Itโ€™s all vegetarian, and they cater for dietary requirements (so please let us know as soon as possible so we can make sure youโ€™re provided for perfectly!)

Sessions/Yoga

Each day we will enjoy a variety of yoga practices that include postures, breathwork, sound and meditation - whilst we have general themes to work with, we will always be led by the groups needs and requirements to tailor the practice on a day by day practice, building over the course of the week.

I'm a senior yoga teacher and yoga therapist in the Krishnamacharya tradition, so have been trained to develop really effective, powerful practices that work really subtly and deeply on every level of our beings. We will work in a variety of ways, from more active, dynamic practices to more chilled out and restorative practices to feel relaxed, present, strong, joyful and just generally great!

There will also be plenty down time to rest, read, relax or spend time exploring the natural surroundings.

Transfers

A transfer bus will collect attendees in Mรกlaga around midday on Monday 12th (exact times TBC) and take us all up to the retreat centre. On Monday 19th, the bus will arrive late morning at the retreat centre and take us back down to Mรกlaga.

Fees

The retreat costs ยฃ800 - this includes

๐ŸŒบ beautiful, handmade rustic shared accommodation - treehouses and stone/wood cottages

๐ŸŒบ our meals - gorgeous, freshly prepared feasts for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as constant fresh fruit and teas, coffees, infusions, cow/goat/nut/seed milks for snacks in between

๐ŸŒบ and all yoga, meditation, pranayama, chanting and deep relaxation sessions.
